The geomancy Feng Shui and astrology of all ancient cultures, if scientific, should be the same. Those lacking the depth in scientific knowledge would "see opposites and differences". ![]() The previous articles show that the "flight of 9 numbers" in the Chinese Lou Shu is an ill-understood ancient star map! The zigzag pattern is produced by interactions of the Moon Saros with Saturn-Jupiter conjunctions. This, known as "Sigil of Saturn" in Kaballic astrology, is a remarkable testimony that the ancient geomancy lore is highly scientific! Skeptics just have inferior scientific knowledge.
Although the Chinese Lou Shu of 9 numbers is vindicated by the scientific astronomical proofs presented, some may refer to that the Hindu Vastu Shastra say some opposite things:
Vastu Shastra has been around since 12,000 to 6,000 BC while Feng Shui is a comparatively younger concept, since only 960 BC. Or, 5,000 years ago.
First, Hindu proponents of Vastu Shastra may not realise that Chinese Feng Shui was found in ancient Chinese text of Shan Hai Jing, circa 3,000 BC. In comparison, the oldest Hindu text on Vastu may be in Rigveda, only 1900 BC. Hindu culture did not exist in India until 1700 BC, when the Aryan masters of Hindu culture came into India. Archaeology evidence dug at Indus Valley went back to about 2500 BC but these were of the older Dravidians not the Aryan Hindus. Practically all features of Hindu culture, its geomancy and its worship systems could not exist in India before 1700 BC.
Now, have a look at how Vastu text of Manasara (5-7th century AD) defines the auspicious facing:
The other equally ancient Mayamata text spells out how to use the gnomon to determine the directions but gives no identification which are auspicious or not.

Brihat-samhita by Varahamihira, circa 6th century AD, has these interesting observations:
Brihat-samhita, Sloka 39-41. A house with only a western and a southern hall is termed Siddhartha; one with a western an a northern hall Yamasurya; one with a northern and an eastern hall, Danda; one with an eastern and a southern hall Vata; one with an eastern and western one Graha-Chulli; and one with a southern and northern one Kacha. The first kind of house leads to an acquisition of wealth; the second to the death of the householder; the third to punishment and death; the fourth to grief and quarrel; the fifth to loss of money; and the sixth to hatred among kinsmen
One smart student spotted this phrase: "2-3. The quadrangular ground which is elevated towards the south and towards the west is suitable (for the buildings of) the gods and the men respectively. ". Why should the land at the South be elevated? In contrast to Chinese Feng Shui that there should be a mountain at the North. The answer is really simple – the situation in the ancient text was in the South Hemisphere, where it would be better for land towards the South be higher to allow sunshine to flow in! Thus, the Chinese Feng Shui is a North Hemisphere thing,, while Hindu Vastu is of the South Hemisphere.
Remarkably, archaeology found that Vastu was practised in ancient Meso-America!: The above breakthroughs had long been uncovered many years ago. We eventually found more startling scientific confirmation proof from analysis of the astro-physic satellite tracking of the solar eclispes.
"Sri V. Ganapati Sthapati," read Deva Rajan's fax to our Hawaii editorial office from Machu Picchu high in the rugged Andes Mountains of Peru, South America, "has just measured with tape, compass and a lay-out story pole, two ancient Incan structures at Machu Picchu: a temple and a residence. He has confirmed that the layout of these structures, locations for doors, windows, proportions of width to length, roof styles, degree of slopes for roofs, column sizes, wall thicknesses, etc., all conform completely to the principles and guidelines as prescribed in the Shaastra Vaastu of India. Residential layouts are identical to those found in Mohenjodaro. The temple layouts are identical to those that he is building today and that can be found all over India." Proper studies of the ancient texts and review of archaeology evidence will show that many aspects of Hindu culture, including Vedic astrology, orginated from the South Hemisphere It may be useful to integrate the Chinese Feng Shui with the Hindu Vastu to obtain a much more global type of geomancy!
Our school have always regarded Feng Shui and astrology as having ill-understood advance scientific basis. But almost all socalled geomancy practitioners lack the scientific skill to understand. Can't blame them much, as even modern "scientists" do not realise the scientific rationale. We are the only school which is able to crack the scientific secrets of Feng Shui and astroloogy. See also associaed fantastic scientific discoveries by our school:
Our school looks at the scientific astronomy behind astrology, and physical geography and quantum wave physics to landfrom Feng Shui. No other geomancy school has the advance scientific understanding of Feng Shui and astrology. Come and learn the real scientific astronomy and physical geography nature of "Qi" in our courses.
