Why did the Death Angel kill the firstborn males of Egypt but not the firstborn males of Israel?

The Riddle

  • This article reveals the startling landform Feng Shui aspects which finally decode the over 3,000 years old mystery of why the famous Biblical Death Angel 10th plague of Egypt killed only the firstborns males of Egypt but not the firstborns males of Israel. A Godly inspired high level Feng Shui understanding solves the millennial old riddle which has baffled Biblical scholars down the ages.

Our long ongoing intense scientific research into Feng Shui and astrology has uncovered the high level Feng Shui and astrology which used to be practised only in the imperial circles during the ancient times in the Sung, Tang and Han dynasties and before. Current practitioners hardly checked the ancient texts to assess how much the modern practice has deviated. Current practices in Feng Shui and astrology are very watered down versions which now contain many errors which can make their applications dangerous.

One vital concept now lost to almost all modern practitioners is the concept of the Demon Gate. Modern practitioners have some hazy idea that it is connected with the Northeast direction. They are unaware that much of the Sung and Tang dynasties Feng Shui texts, such as written by Yang Yun Sung and Lai Bu Yi, are about the Demon Gate. Many current practitioners not understanding this Demon Gate concept may be unwittingly sending their clients to stay in adverse Demon Gate areas.

In fact, the ancient imperial rituals were designed to deal with the effects of the Demon Gate. These ancient imperial rituals used the secrets of the Ming Tang to overcome the Demon Gate effects. These we have explained to some extent in earlier articles. Without this Demon Gate concept there is no real Feng Shui.

It was not only the Chinese people who had to deal with the Demon Gate. Dealing with the dangerous Demon Gate was a universal problem present in the ancient cultures. The enigmatic megaliths like Stonehenge were about this Demon Gate. The ancient cultures had to apply various rituals to combat the adverse effects of the Demon Gate. One of the most unrealised facts is that the Biblical Death Angel 10th plague of Egypt was actually something which came out from the Demon Gate!

Around 1500 BC, Moses asked the pharaoh of Egypt to let his Israelites people leave Egypt to go back to Israel. As the pharaoh refused, Moses called up ten plagues to afflict Egypt. The last 10th plague was the coming of the Death Angel who killed all the firstborns males of Egypt but not the firstborns males of Israel. Finally the pharaoh had to release Israel.

Scholars have argued what really happened. Some had tried to provide scientific explanations.

The firstborns killed by the Death Angel include animals.

Scientific Explanations

It can be a test of the Christian churches inspiration by God as to whether they can explain how the ten plagues, especially that of the Death Angel, came about. Many have only the simple unsatisfactory answer that God is capable of bringing about the ten plagues.

The Russian author, Immanuel Velikovsky, who wrote the books Worlds in Collision and Ages of Chaos, proposed a cometary collision with earth as the underlying cause of the ten plagues. Other attempts at scientific explanations include:

  • The US scientist, R Schoental, ... suggest that mycotoxins in contaminated foodstuffs might explain the sudden deaths of ancient Egyptians and their animals... She also proposed a possible reason for its preferential impact on the firstborn -- that the most dominant animals and human beings would have had first access to the stored food supplies, and so they would have been most affected by the fatal toxins.

  • Jacobovici suggests that the first borns in ancient Egypt had the privilege to sleep close to the floor while other children slept on higher ground or even on roofs. This view, however, is not supported by any archaeological or historical evidence... when carbon dioxide or other toxic gases escape the surface tension of a nearby waterbody because of either geological activity or over-saturation, the gas, being heavier than air, "flooded" the nearby area displacing oxygen and killing those who were in its path.

These scientific theories are not adequate to explain why the Death Angel killed the firstborns males of Egypt but not those of Israel not only of humans but also of animals. But they are starting stones which encouraged the author to seek more scientific insights into the legend.

The Jews stayed in the lowlands of Goshen, north of the hilly areas at Cairo where the Egyptians stayed.

Thebes was full of temples located at hills. In some of the temples, huge statutes were carved onto the cliffs of the hills.
Physical Geography of Goshen

The author, after earlier scientific research into the Demon Gate concept, realised that it is possible to explain the Death Angel by first looking at the physical geography of Egypt. During the time when the Egyptian pharaoh was friendly to Joseph he gave Israel the land of Goshen to stay in.

In order to understand why the Death Angel killed the firstborns of Egypt and not Israel, it is first necessary to note that the Egyptians and Israelites stayed in different areas.

Now, Goshen, where the Jews stayed, was in the lowland among the marshy areas of the delta of the Nile river. The Egyptians stayed to the south, on higher grounds at what are now the Cairo and On areas, which in more ancient times were also known as Thebes. The Cairo-On-Thebes areas are located at edges of hills where the Nile river emerges from the southern mountainous ranges. North of the Cairo-On-Thebes areas are the lowlands of the delta of the Nile where Goshen was located.

Many of the Egyptian temples were located at hills on the west banks of the Nile, often on eastern sides of these hills to face the Northeast to catch the sunrise at Summer Solstice. This is an important point which will help explain why the Death Angel killed the Egyptian firstborns but not those of Israel.

The ten plagues of Egypt were associated with winds which blew from the East to the West
Where did the Death Angel Come from?

Another important clue lies in the direction the Death Angel came from.

Some analysts tried to associate the plagues of Egypt with the seasonal khamsin winds. The khamsin winds are like the foehn winds of the Alps and generally are ill winds. They usually come during the spring period and seem to tie in with the Exodus story of Passover at spring.

However, the above view of the wind betrays a lack of reading of the Biblical passage:

  • And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts. (Exodus 10:13)
And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. (Exodus 14:21)

The khamsin winds blow from the west to the east. But the Death Angel direction was with the east wind which blew from east to west, apparently throughout the ten plagues period! The opposite direction!

That the Death Angel came from the east is a vital clue to how it killed the firstborns of Egypt. What was it which came from the East to cause so much damages to the Egyptians but not the Israelites?

There are perfect physical geography features which caused the ten plagues of Egypt to fall upon the Egyptians but not the Israelites.

Chaos at the Hills

Instead of the usual seasonal khamsin winds blowing from the west, an unusual wind was blowing from the east! It was a sign that something was seriously wrong with the weather, a sign of the divine punishments to come.

These unusual east winds were carrying the ten plagues of Egypt and were blowing from the east towards the west. These winds were highly charged with cosmic radiation coming from the magnetic north pole at the Northeast and loaded with all sorts of things which caused the ten plagues. There were microbes and insects as well as electric fires and hail. These east winds were not healthy.

The east winds would blow across Egypt from east to west and flow through the wide flat northern valley region of Goshen and the hilly southern valley region of Cairo-On-Thebes (see arrows 1, 2, 3 in diagram above). When the winds reached Cairo-On-Thebes areas they would run smack into the local hills (see "Blockage area" at western end of arrow 1 in diagram). The winds would be forced to spin into vortexes at the hills. A number of terrible things would then happen at the Cairo-On-Thebes areas:

  • The sudden change in wind velocities would cause many things hanging in the winds to drop down. These included dust, insects and possibly microbes.

  • The turbulence would create and send down electric fires and hail.

  • The final Death Angel

These east winds would have continued to blow on and on without discharging their deadly loads until they ran into a block, like the Theban hills.

There were hardly any hills in Goshen for the east winds to run into. Hence, chaos would reign at the Cairo-On-Thebes areas but not in Goshen. The east winds would "pass over" the land of Goshen (see arrows 2 and 3 in diagram above), sparing the Israelites the plagues which fell upon the Egyptians. It could be for this reason that the event was remembered as "Passover" by the Israelites.

Q.E.D. We have solved the first part of the riddle about why the plagues affected the Egyptians but not the Israelites!

The fantastic Egyptian hill temples, so long regarded with awe, were the death traps for the Egyptians!

Coming of the Death Angel

Now, we come to the second more ultimate question: How did these east winds cause differential effects in killing only the firstborns males of Egypt? Not only of humans but also of animals.

  • "And it came to pass at midnight that the Lord struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of livestock." -- Exodus 12:29

A key fact is that, in the Egyptian culture, the first born were always dedicated unto the Egyptian gods (Antonio L. Mitchell. Christian Resources Today. November 2008 - 2012. The Wrath of God Against the Egyptian Deities). These firstborns would be brought to the hill temples for dedication, and this included the animals.

When the east winds hit Cairo-On-Thebes areas, they would hit the hill temples where the Egyptian firstborns males were. The killing agent could be some form of noxious gases like carbon dioxide, like as suggested by Jacobovici earlier. This explains why both human and animal firstborn males were killed. Not the second or third borns etc. who were not dedicated and thus not present at the fatal hill temples. Probably some other life at the hill temples were also affected but nothing so spectacular like the firstborns. It also explains why, while the Egyptians were affected, the Israelites were spared.

The ancient geomancy was a fantastic high level environmental science now forgotten by modern practitioners!

Some significant changes occurred in the world's physical geography and climate around 1500 BC which rendered the megaliths with their Northeast facings obsolete.

The Serious Feng Shui Implications

An over 3,000 years old mystery is finally solved by Feng Shui! It was all associated with an ill-wind from the east, coming from the Demon Gate!

We have noted earlier that there were two parallel valleys, one the northern Goshen area and the other the southern Cairo-On-Thebes area. A closer look at the topography of the region would show that these valleys were bounded by hill ridges running from a Northeast to Southwest direction, not exactly from east to west. That is, the east wind bringing the Death Angel was actually blowing from Northeast to Southwest, via the deadly Feng Shui NE Demon Gate direction! That the Egyptian hill temples often faced Northeast only made the Demon Gate effects much worse.

Feng Shui lore also has described various aspects of hills, especially steep cliffs, as inauspicious. Some of the Egyptian temples were also established on hill tops which are also inauspicious.

Ancient Feng Shui regarded the winds as "sha", and the Death Angel wind was indeed a terrible sha. The Egyptian Cairo area lacks the horseshoe shaped Ming Tang principle to ward off the winds.

The Feng Shui lore is a science which should be seriously noted and applied. Demon Gate is a serious must know scientific Feng Shui concept which should not be played a fool with!

Scientific analysts like Immanuel Velikovsky, R Schoental and Jacobovici are correct to think of seeking scientific explanations to ancient legends. Many current practitioners would do with a more scientific approach in geomancy, both Feng Shui and astrology. Then only can they possess a highly scientific Feng Shui, as applied in this article to finally elucidate the secrets of a famous legend of the Death Angel.

This Death Angel phenomenon is the unrealised focus of a wide range of important ancient rituals, used to be performed by ruling circles all over the ancient world, including the Chinese emperors. Only by understanding the Death Angel - Demon Gate Feng Shui can practitioners reach the high levels used to be found in the ancient Feng Shui of patriarchs like Guo Po, Yang Yun Sung, Lai Bu Yi.

What are discussed above represent a very high level Feng Shui. There are many things about this Demon Gate issue and how the ancients used Ming Tang techniques to overcome the deadly effects of the Demon Gate. Join us to learn more!

The Truth shall prevail!
This article is the result of a series of scientific research into the haunting phenomenon. The research has progressed to study the Ghost Lights as these have relationships with the typical haunting. Indepth evaluations were made of the physical geography topography terrain of many sites of Ghost Lights and cosmic radiation from the Northeast traveling between hill ridges was implicated as the central factor.

It was in the course of the research that it was realised that the Biblical Death Angel was a form of the Ghost Lights phenomenon. This realisation resulted in, as presented in this article, the radical solution of the over 3,000 years old mystery of the Death Angel killing the firstborns of Egypt.

  • Testimony. As a Christian who have researched the whole Bible several times and wrote a few Christian books, I have always known that the Bible is full of divinely inspired Feng Shui principles.

Hebrew and Christian Biblical scholars have been unable for over 3,000 years to unravel the mystery of the Death Angel 10th plague of Egypt. I am very glad that I have been given the Godly inspiration that the Chinese Feng Shui knowledge can finally solve the mystery, as presented in this article.

    • The Holy Bible also hints of the physical geography pattern which can counter the Death Angel!

God be praised! The Chinese Feng Shui is indeed Godly inspired!
