Breakthrough "Lectio Divinia" Finding Mystery of Tarot is about 10 Avatars of Vishnu In-depth scholarly research, comprehensive and very practical Dr Ong Hean-Tatt. April 2024. It is futile for many to try to decipher the origins of the Tarot when they know so little of the ancient cultures, especially the historical traditions. Knowing so little, these people have spun confusing speculations. Yes, they especially know that the "0 Fool" refers to Orion, Odin and even the "Green" Vishnu. The mystery of the Tarot can be deciphered if you understand what are meant by the "10 Avatars" of Vishnu, first noted in the Puranas, between AD 350 and 750.
One order of "10 Avatars" of Vishnu are: Matsya the Fish; Kurma the Turtle; Varaha the Boar; Narasimha the Man-Lion; Vamana the dwarf; Parashurama the warrior; Rama; Krishna or Balarama; Buddha or Krishna; and Kalki the Messiah on white horse.
Practically all have mistakenly taken these "10 Avatars" to refer to 10 different physical reincarnations of Vishnu. Nine avatars had arrived and they are just waiting for the last avatar, Kalki the Messiah' to appear. Everyone of these people naively hope that each of them would be the "closet friend of Kalki"! Alas, they are all blind! Their many "End of the World" themes are just babblings.
Like as how we scientifically statistically compared 28 Lunar Constellations with Major Arcanas, likewise we compare the properties of the 22 Major Arcanas with those of the "10 Avatars" of Vishnu. This is illustrated in the Table 1.
The Table shows that the properties of the 22 Major Arcanas all practically align with the properties of the 10 Avatars of Vishnu!
We have shown earlier that the 22 Major Arcanas follows the cyclic seasonal flow of the 28 Lunar Constellations. Hence, this is the same method of objective proving for the 10 Avatars of Vishnu. The 10 Avatars of Vishnu are not ten physical forms of Vishnu, but a cyclic pattern of His Divine Qualities.

Many commentators are right when they say that the Tarot is about the "Spiritual Journey of the 0 Fool". What is shown here is that this "Spiritual Journey" had cyclic steps reflected in the properties of the "10 Avatars of Vishnu"! Adoring any deity is fine, but you have to go beyond that. An Ending Teaser: Tarot is about Origins of Alphabets The central Major Arcana depicts the upside down "12 Hanged Man". The "0 Fool" has been associated with Orion the Hunter and also Odin king of the gods. The card "12 Hanged Man" is Odin hanging upside down from the "Tree of Life". The Nordic legends say that Odin seeks to understand the rune alphabets and hung himself from the Tree of Life". After 9 days Odin uncovered the mystery of the runes. Odin was credited with the invention of the alphabets. Other ancient cultures also talked of the invention of the alphabets. The Egyptians believed that Thoth [also regarded as Odin] invented the alphabets. The Hindus believed that Sarasvati, wife of Vishnu, invented the alphabets. The oldest known alphabets were those of the Hebrew alphabets, said to be invented by Abraham, said to be related in some way to Thoth. The alphabets were created by a close group of related persons, likely relatives. We have established statistical correspondences between the Nordic runes and the Hebrew alphabets. We also found that the 22 Hebrew alphabets have meanings which correspond to those of the 22 Major Arcanas. That was how Tarot began, and the ancient mystery of the origins of the alphabets is solved!
