Many would have heard of the Mount Olives Four Parables of [1] the Faithless Servant, [2] Ten Virgins, [3] Talents and [4] Sheep and Goats. Our Lord Jesus Christ took them from the Book of Enoch. Let us take the Parable of the Ten Virgins. The Book of Enoch has this passage about virgins:

• Enoch 98.1 And now I swear to you, the wise and the foolish; for ye will see much on this earth.
  2. For ye, men, will put on more ornaments than the women, and colored stuffs more than the virgin; in royalty, and in greatness, and in power, and in silver, and in gold, and purple and honor, and in food, they will float away like water.
  3. And therefore they will have no knowledge and no wisdom , and thereby they are destroyed together with their treasures, and with all their glory and their honor, and in shame and in murder and in great poverty their spirits will be cast into an oven of fire.

Both the parable and the Enoch passages are about "virgins". In the parable, the virgins were associated with oil of lamps, which signifies wisdom and knowledge. The Enoch passage also associates the virgins with knowledge

Matthew 25:10 And while they went away to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage feast: and the door was shut.

The "door was shut" in the Enoch passage is equivalent to the "cast into an oven of fire" in the parable. They are about "Tartarus"!

By similar comparisons, the Four Parables could be matched with relevant Enoch passages as illustrated in the Table 1.

The themes of the Four Parables are found not only in the 3000 BC Book of Enoch. They are also found in the Proverbs 30 Chapter, circa 2000 BC which have six sets of "four things". Table 2 . illustrates the correspondences between the "four things" and the Four Parables.

Statistical Analysis .

Each set of Proverbs passage has four correspondences with the Four Parables. These give 24 correspondences, which have a chance of one in 16,777,216 or an astronomically high significant probability of 0.00000059536 Four Parables are same as the corresponding Proverbs passages! The themes of the Four Parables already existed back in 2nd millennium BC in the Book of Proverbs! .

This exegesis agrees with the few commentators who had associated the Four Parables with Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, which are also found in the Books of Ezekiel [650 BC] and Zechariah [600 BC]:

• White Horseman – Ten VIrgins. The parable of the Ten Virgins (Matthew 25:1-12) and the imagery of the white horse in Revelation (Revelation 6:2 and 19:11) are distinct, though some interpretations connect them, with the virgins representing readiness for Christ's return and the white horse symbolizing both a deceptive figure and Christ's triumphant return. The Four Parables, Lost Book of Enoch, Proverbs and the Four Horsemen themes are related to each other.
